CJFR Special Issue

Extended Abstract for Publication in Special Issue

Dear Participants in the 14th North American Forest Ecology Workshop, NAFEW 2022,

The Canadian Journal of Forest Research has graciously agreed to help us develop a special issue that features presentations from the 14th NAFEW conference: Virtual Edition.

At this point, we would like to gauge the interest of participants in contributing to this special issue.  To do that, we would like the presenters to express their interest by submitting a complete and extended abstract (max 2 pages) which needs to indicate the proposed title, the full authorship, and outlines the details of the proposed manuscript (i.e., introductory context, objectives, main methods, and results (figures encouraged), and the interpretation of those).  This abstract must be submitted to us by May 31, 2022.

All abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated by the scientific committee.  A decision to invite authors to prepare a full manuscript will be made by early June and at that time further details on the journal submission and timelines will be issued.  Please note that not all submitted abstracts will be invited for a full submission, and an invitation to submit does not guarantee publication, as the full submissions will undergo the regular peer-review process for Canadian Journal of Forest Research.

We are looking forward to receiving your feedback and abstracts soon. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
